The paper describes a simplified numerical technique developed to simulate the penetration of strikers into textile barriers. It takes into account the type of fabric weaving, the friction forces in the threads and between the striker and the fabric, the transverse dimensions of the fabric. The necessary design parameters were selected from the comparison of experimental and calculated data. With the help of a customized technique, the ballistic resistance of the combined protective composition was evaluated, which makes it possible to reduce the impact of the armor.
