This research investigates the unique characteristics of relic gravitational waves generated during the inflationary and post-inflationary epochs of the early universe. The focus is on cosmological models derived from both modified gravity theories and Einstein's theory of general relativity. The potential for detecting high-frequency relic gravitational waves through their conversion into photons within constant and alternating magnetic fields is discussed. The sensitivity of these detectors is compared to other existing and proposed methods for detecting high-frequency gravitational waves. The feasibility of directly testing cosmological inflation models using gravitational-wave antennas is assessed by analyzing the sensitivity estimations of various high-frequency gravitational wave detectors.
