Joseph Thomas Sheridan Le Fanu was an Irish writer of Gothic novels, one of the most influential ghost story writers of the nineteenth century. «Ghost Stories of Chapelizod» is a collection of three brief mystical stories – «The Village Bully», «The Sexton’s Adventure», and «The Spectre Lovers» - set in the suburban village of Chapelizod.
